“There is nothing more rewarding than giving back and making a difference in the lives of people in this great community.” – Frank Guzzetta
MHAI believes that mental health should be accessible to all sectors of society. We believe that for this vision to be successful active awareness is the key. As part of our organization's vision, we encourage and invite individuals to become volunteers and register as volunteers. Volunteering our time to support a cause we are passionate about is something we will never regret. It will enrich our life, familiarize us with our community, and connect us to people and ideas that will positively impact our perspective for the rest of our life. Helping our community is an opportunity for us to grow as a person, to better understand how we fit into the world around us. In addition to the health benefits, volunteering gives us a sense of purpose. The fulfilling feeling of giving back and contributing to society is unparalleled.
“There could be no definition of a successful life that does not include service to others.” – George H W Bush
