Ranjitha Raj is the Founder of Mental Health Academy India (MHAI) and an entrepreneur passionately committed to advancing mental well-being. She is a Mental Health Practitioner, Certified Counselor, and Holistic Life Skills Trainer with a dual Master’s degree in Life Sciences.
After starting her career at one of the Big Four accounting firms, Ranjitha transitioned into mental health to pursue her deeper calling—empowering individuals and communities to heal and thrive. Her own experience with mental health challenges inspired her mission to help others navigate stress, overcome limiting beliefs, and find clarity.
Over the years, she has impacted more than 5,500 lives through corporate training, workshops, counseling, mentoring, healing retreats, and community awareness initiatives.

Ramya Shetty is a Certified Counselor and Life Skills Trainer with nearly a decade of corporate experience. Her journey into mental health and life skills training began when she witnessed firsthand the impact of emotional well-being in professional and personal life. This realization led her to pursue extensive studies in Psychology and Mental Health, equipping her with the expertise to support individuals in their growth.
She has conducted numerous life skills training programs in schools, and provides individual counseling, making mental health knowledge more accessible to all.
Beyond her professional work, she is an avid music lover and dancer who enjoys connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, believing that every interaction brings new learning and growth.
G.K. Mairuga is the Rural Program Coordinator at Mental Health Academy India. With a certification in Journalism, he has contributed numerous articles to various Kannada magazines and newspapers. His deep understanding of Psychology and Kannada literature has been instrumental in translating and designing our rural mental health programs in regional languages, making mental health awareness more accessible to rural communities.
His interests include reading books on psychology, philosophy, and spirituality.
Rohan Somkuwar is a core team member at Mental Health Academy India (MHAI), driving program operations with his expertise in marketing, content creation, brand management, and strategy. His continuous pursuit of knowledge and creativity plays a key role in shaping MHAI’s outreach and impact.
With a Master’s in Life Sciences and an MBA in Marketing & Finance, Rohan brings nearly a decade of experience from multinational corporations like EY and PwC.

Dr. Rajaram, a highly respected Family Physician, has been serving the community for over 40+ years, deeply understanding its needs and challenges.
